On the 22nd of April, Help Them Home is giving us the opportunity to support non-profits and fundraise to end homeless in our community.

For decades, I've been a proud and loyal supporter of Serving People in Need because, time and again, they've exceeded every expectation. I've witnessed firsthand the absolute care they provide the families they serve.

All SPIN client families leave feeling nurtured and given all the resources to confidently become financially secure and safely housed.

What has also stayed with me, is how SPIN treats their donors - not as transactions, but as partners in something meaningful, with genuine kindness and gratitude. When supporting SPIN, we physically see your gifts successfully impacting the unhoused community.

In 2025, SPIN housed 61 families. Won't you join me in supporting SPIN so they can continue to help and house families - and possibly turn that 61 into something greater?

The Serving People In Need Story

For almost 40 years, Serving People in Need (SPIN) has continued the legacy of founder Sam Boyce's mission to help Orange County families in need. With over 80,000 families and individuals served since its inception in 1987, SPIN's outstanding case management and family navigation services have helped the organization maintain a 90% or better success rate of client families remaining sustainably housed.

With approximately 400 unhoused families apparent in the county at any given time, and the end of federal funding for housing programs, we need your help more than ever. In 2025, we successfully housed 61 families (208 parents and children), and guided over 2400 to essential services with access to our network of resources, plus food, clothing, hygiene and household necessities. Our goal for 2026 is to increase that impact by 25% - a lofty endeavor, but one we feel confident in reaching with the assistance of over 3 million giving Orange County hearts like yours!
