Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California
Justice, Safety, and Home for AAPI Families
Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California (AJSOCAL) is the nation’s largest legal and civil rights organization serving Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities. For over 40 years, we’ve helped immigrant and low‑income families access justice, stay safely housed, and rebuild stability during moments of crisis.
Each year, AJSOCAL provides free legal and human services to more than 15,000 people across Los Angeles and Orange County - many of whom face language barriers, financial hardship, or violence. We deliver services in 12 languages, ensuring help is accessible when it’s needed most.
Why Our Work Matters
Families come to AJSOCAL when their housing, safety, or future is at risk. Our teams provide:
- Housing protection and eviction defense to prevent displacement
- Domestic violence and family law support to help survivors stay safe
- Immigration legal services to keep families together and protected
In 2025 alone, we responded to 11,456 calls for help and managed over 6,500 active cases - clear evidence that the need for trusted, culturally competent legal support is urgent and growing.
Why Your Support Is Critical
Through the Help Them Home campaign, AJSOCAL is raising $10,000 to sustain the core services that keep families housed, protected, and connected to justice. This support allows us to respond quickly, maintain multilingual access, and meet urgent community needs as they arise.
