Irene's Fundraiser

Some words from Irene

Irene Villalobos is a native Southern Californian who has proudly called Orange County home for the past 14 years. As a Real Estate Broker/Owner who first earned her license in 2002, Irene has built her career around something deeper than real estate — people.

Helping others has always been at the heart of who Irene is. The joy she experiences when she sees someone’s life improved, even in a small way, is what fuels her passion both professionally and personally.

Throughout her life, Irene has generously volunteered her time with organizations such as HomeAid OC, Meals on Wheels, Bridge of Faith, and as Chair of Keller Williams Red Day, along with participating in countless community service projects and serving on several nonprofit boards. Giving back has always been one of her greatest joys.

As her real estate business grew and life became busier, Irene realized that although her heart for service hadn’t changed, it became harder to physically volunteer as often as she once did. Instead of stepping away from giving back, she created a way to expand her impact even further.

Today, with every home she sells, Irene makes a donation at the close of escrow to a charitable organization chosen by her client — in her client’s name.

This program allows every transaction to become an opportunity to support causes that matter — from helping families in need, to supporting community programs, to funding organizations making a difference locally and beyond.

Through this initiative, Irene hopes to turn each real estate transaction into something greater: a chance for her clients to be part of giving back and creating positive change.

Because when people come together with generosity and purpose, everyone benefits.

On a personal note, Irene is a proud mother of three and a grandmother of seven. When she’s not working with clients or supporting charitable causes, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, traveling, appreciating art, and catching a good movie.

For Irene, success isn’t just measured in homes sold — it’s measured in lives touched, and communities strengthened.

The HomeAid Orange County | Los Angeles Story

In 1989, leaders in the building industry of Southern California engaged in a revolutionary project: the renovation of an old farmhouse in Irvine into affordable housing for at-risk families. This one-off project opened the door to an innovative new idea: a charitable branch of the building industry that donates their expertise, labor, and materials towards construction to reduce the overall cost of the project. HomeAid's story of helping people facing housing insecurity began.

What makes HomeAid OCLA special is how our community comes together to make our work possible. Our Builder Captains and their partners generously donate materials, expertise, time and labor toward our projects. Sometimes HomeAid OCLA owns the building; other times, we serve as the bridge between a nonprofit operator and the builder who steps up to bring the project to life. Each project we build brings us one step closer to closing the housing insecurity gap.
